St. Edmund’s Academy Families are the backbone of our school, ensuring that the essential connection between school and home is strong. The friendships built and fostered within our community last a lifetime and make a family’s time at SEA even richer.

  • Community Nights

We are lucky to have a facility that offers our families the chance to relax and enjoy each other outside of the school day. From quarterly movie nights in the Auditorium to community-wide games of bingo on Zoom, Community Nights bring us all together.
  • Grandfriends Day

Grandfriends Day emphasizes the importance of intergenerational connections and the role grandparents and special friends play in the life of a child. Grandfriends may be grandparents, great aunts or uncles, a special neighbor or childcare provider, or any other adult who fills a grandparent-like role in a student’s life. We celebrate our school-wide Grandfriends Day on the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving break.
  • Proudly in the heart of Squirrel Hill

We are lucky to be part of the wonderful neighborhood of Squirrel Hill. We’re proud of our relationship with our neighbors at the JCC of Pittsburgh and Church of the Redeemer. Additionally, we’re a short walk from the SQH Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Schenley Park, and the Squirrel Hill Business District. #SEAlovesSQH
  • PTA

In addition to supporting the school with community-building events, student-centered activities, and classroom support, the SEA PTA raises funds each year that are donated back to the school. The SEA PTA is committed to bringing the community together throughout the year, and we are grateful for the work they do. Learn more about the SEA PTA and its leadership.
Guided by our Core Values and commitment to high standards, St. Edmund’s Academy provides a diverse, inclusive, and nurturing learning community where students are known, valued, and challenged to achieve their potential.
