Thank you for your interest in St. Edmund’s Academy! Our Admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child through a variety of experiences. One way we learn more about your child’s academic profile is through the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). To make the process as convenient as possible, we offer several options for taking the ISEE.
St. Edmund’s Academy is happy to offer the ISEE in our Admissions Office on a weekday that works best for your family. The exam will be proctored by a member of our Admissions Team.
Once you have selected the day of your choice, the SEA Admissions Team will reach out to you with the Event Code that you will need to complete registration.
Each Fall and Winter, group testing sessions are offered at local independent schools. While SEA does not offer a group testing option, many are available in the region.
Yes, ISEE makes every effort to accommodate students that are unable to take the ISEE under standard conditions due to a documented learning difference or health issue. You must request an accommodation before registering for the exam. Please know that the request review process can take up to one week.
Every ISEE registrant receives access to free test preparation resources, including a full-length practice test and personalized feedback. While some students find it helpful to take the practice test to feel more comfortable, it is not required.
Score reports will be sent directly to your ISEE parent account and they will be automatically released to any school that you choose to receive your child’s scores. You can expect to receive scores from online exams within 5 days and scores from paper exams within 10 days. Please note that the essay question and your child’s response are not shared as part of the score report to help maintain test integrity.
Guided by our Core Values and commitment to high standards, St. Edmund’s Academy provides a diverse, inclusive, and nurturing learning community where students are known, valued, and challenged to achieve their potential.
