Grades 1-4 Admissions

  • Schedule a Personal Tour of St. Edmund’s Academy. Follow the link to schedule. (Available most weekdays)
  • Attend a Virtual Information Session (optional) Recordings will be available following each session.
    • Tuesday, October 3 @ 9:00 a.m. | There’s Only One Program Like Ours: Educating the Whole Child
    • Friday, November 17 @ 9:00 a.m. | There’s Only One Community Like Ours: Pittsburgh’s Most Diverse Independent School
    • Monday, December 4 @ 9:00 a.m. | There's Only One Journey Like Yours: Choosing a School That Serves Your Child's Strengths
  • Complete an Application (online) with your $50 application fee
  • Give the following forms to your child’s current school:
    • Permission and Request to Release Student Information Form – Complete and sign the Release of Records form and leave with the Business or Administrative Office at your child’s current school. If you have access to your child’s school records, they can be uploaded directly to your SEA Port* Account.
    • One Teacher Recommendation Forms – These can be requested digitally through SEA Port
  • Register your child for a School Visit where they will get to experience a day at SEA. (Application must be completed before scheduling a visit) Schedule their visit through SEA Port.
  • Applicants to grades 3 and 4 should save the date of February 3, 2024 in the morning to attend a group admissions assessment. Details will follow as the date approaches, and alternate arrangements can also be made.
Financial Aid application deadline for new families is January 15, 2024. Admissions notifications will be distributed on Friday, March 1, 2024. Contracts will be due by Friday, March 22, 2024, with a $1000 non-refundable deposit ($500 for families receiving financial aid).
