HOS Statement on End of Year Plans
As people throughout our city and around the world cope with chronic uncertainty brought by COVID-19, familiar traditions provide us at St. Edmund’s Academy with a sense of continuity. Rituals marking the conclusion of one school year and the beginning of the next provide invaluable milestones for children, rites of passage symbolizing the value of what they have achieved and the opportunities that await.
Filled with traditions marking the year’s conclusion, our final days of the school year from May 26 through June 3 warrant advanced community awareness. While restrictions brought by COVID-19 will require some adjustments to several traditions and delays to others, conversations with parents and students have helped us retain the spirit and substance of those events to the greatest degree possible.
