School Life
There is so much to explore at St. Edmund’s Academy.
St. Edmund's Academy offers competitive interscholastic athletics in cross country, soccer, field hockey, basketball and lacrosse as well as a basketball clinic. Arts programs include Chorus, Band, Glee Club, class "on-stage" performances and visual art workshops. During our weekly Chapel service, we gather as a community to celebrate the spiritual values which bind us together. Each classroom at St. Edmund’s Academy is wired with the latest technology tools. The school library holds a wealth of information for the entire school community. The lunch program at St. Edmund's Academy is provided by Metz Culinary Management. Our personal on-site chef strives to provide a balanced meal each and every day. Extracurricular activities such as a Lead Student ambassador program, student newspaper, yearbook and field trips provide opportunities to lead and grow. Students who want to test their wits compete in the Heinz History Center’s “History Bowl,” Scripps National Spelling Bee, Robotics, Science Bowl and MathCounts. Others enter our annual raucous talent show and Fine Arts Festival. Visit Beyond the Classroom to learn about our Extended Day program, Community Service, Family Involvement, Traditional Events and Summer Camp. The St. Edmund's Academy Parent Teacher Association oversees a wide variety of fundraising events, social gatherings, and services that not only enhance the quality of the school, but help to bring students, parents, and faculty closer together.
