Financial Aid
St. Edmund’s Academy offers a financial aid program that is designed to assist three categories of students: current students receiving financial aid, current students who would like to be considered for financial aid for the upcoming school year and new applicants. St. Edmund’s Academy awards aid to families based on demonstrated financial need. All students who receive aid must qualify through the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid application process. Applications, a due dates schedule and detailed information about the financial aid program are available below as well as from the Admissions Office. All information submitted through the financial aid application process is kept strictly confidential.
Key Dates for Financial Aid Application
For families with returning students:
1. November 11, 2011 - Familes with students currently enrolled at St. Edmund's Academy can begin the application process for financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year.
2. February 8, 2012 – Financial aid applications are due to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) for returning families interested in financial aid for the 2012-2013 school year. Applications are to be submitted at sss.nais.org/parents. Copies of 2011 Federal Tax returns and W-2 forms are required to be provided to the St. Edmund’s Academy as soon as they are available. All families interested in financial aid are encouraged to file their 2011 taxes as soon as possible.
3. Financial aid for 2012-2013 cannot be awarded until the Business Office has received all required documentation.
For families with new students:
1. February 29, 2012 – Deadline for financial aid applications and tax paperwork for new families.
2. Financial aid for 2012-2013 for new families cannot be awarded until the Business Office has received all required documentation.
