St. Edmund’s Academy has several opportunities for students to exhibit his or her theatrical side. Each grade participates in a production. Highlights of the year include the Lower School holiday concerts and the Upper School Christmas Pageant. Upper School students may participate in instrumental music (small group instruction), band, orchestra and chorus.
Each Spring, the 7th and 8th grades participate in the annual production. The students become the actors, actresses, stage crew and lighting technicians. Ms. Novak runs the auditions and practices throughout February and March The musical this year is Bye, Bye Birdie. The musical will be presented to the school, family, and friends in March 2010.
